LUFT at the German Championships in Aerial Arts

For the second year in a row, LUFT Studio is proud to take part in the German National Championships in Aerial Arts. As a member of ODPS (Die Organisation des deutschen Pole Sports e.V.), affiliated with the International Pole and Aerial Sports Federation, our studio continues to grow within the competitive aerial community.

Last year, our LUFT team consisted of six participants and returned home with two medals – an achievement we are incredibly proud of. In April 2026, our students and coaches will once again step onto the national stage, competing in aerial hoop and aerial silks.

This year, our team has grown significantly and now includes 13 athletes: seven adults and six children. Over the past months, they have been training together in special preparation classes, dedicated open training sessions, and one-on-one coaching. This structured approach allows each athlete to develop not only technically, but also artistically and mentally.

Participation in championships is about much more than titles and rankings. It is a powerful opportunity for growth. Training toward a clear goal accelerates progress, sharpens performative skills, and builds the confidence to present one’s work in front of hundreds of people in an unfamiliar environment. Along the way, athletes support and cheer for one another, forming bonds and memories that turn “going to classes” into a true passion.

At LUFT Studio, we offer ideal conditions for competition preparation. Our equipment matches championship standards, and our coaches continuously educate themselves through professional courses to ensure high-quality, up-to-date training.

If you or your child dream of competing or performing in Germany or neighboring countries opportunities are steadily growing. In addition to championships organized by ODPS, there are several other competitions, such as those hosted by POSA. If this path interests you, don’t hesitate to speak with your trainer we’re always happy to guide you.
